The short version
There are no accounts, no profiles, and no advertising. We do not keep the audio you download, and we do not keep a record of which tracks you downloaded.
What we store in your browser
- A visitor ID cookie. A random identifier, not tied to anything about you. It exists so that rate limits apply to you individually rather than to everyone sharing our server’s address — without it, one heavy user would lock out everybody else.
- A license cookie, only if you activate a license. It holds your license key and activation ID, encrypted, and is marked HTTP-only so no JavaScript on this page can read it. Clearing it, or clicking Deactivate, removes it.
Both are strictly functional. There is no analytics cookie and no third-party tracker on this site.
What our servers see
- The SoundCloud URL you paste, for as long as it takes to resolve it. Resolved metadata is cached briefly to avoid hammering SoundCloud, keyed by the URL — not by who asked for it.
- Your IP address, held in memory only, to apply rate limits. It is not written to a database and not retained.
- Ordinary server logs (timestamp, path, status code) from our hosting provider, kept for a short period for debugging and abuse handling.
Audio is streamed through our server to your browser and never written to disk.
Third parties
- SoundCloud — we request track data and audio from them on your behalf.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot check. Cloudflare receives the information needed to run that check; it is not a tracking cookie and is not used for advertising.
- Lemon Squeezy — validates Pro license keys. They see your license key and activation ID when you activate. We never see your payment details.
- Vercel — hosts this site and produces the server logs described above.
We do not sell or share data with anyone else.
Your rights
Because we hold no account and no profile, there is nothing to export or delete on request — clearing your cookies removes everything that identifies you here. If you believe we hold data about you anyway, get in touch and we will look into it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be called out on the site.
