What we host

Nothing. This service stores no audio, no artwork, and no catalogue. It holds no index of SoundCloud content and cannot be searched for tracks. When a visitor supplies a URL, the file is streamed from SoundCloud’s own servers to that visitor’s browser and is never written to storage on our side.

As a result there is normally nothing here for us to take down. A takedown directed at the file itself belongs with SoundCloud, who host it.

If you are a rights holder

We still want to hear from you. If you believe this service is being used to infringe your copyright, or you want specific content blocked from being resolved through it, contact us via our contact form with:

  • your name and contact details;
  • identification of the work, and of the specific SoundCloud URL or URLs concerned;
  • a statement that you hold the rights, or are authorised to act for the rights holder;
  • a statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.

We review complaints promptly and will block specific URLs or rights-holder catalogues from being resolved where that is the appropriate remedy. We also terminate access for users who repeatedly use this service to infringe.

Our position on use

This tool exists for people who hold the rights to the audio they are downloading — their own uploads, tracks artists have marked downloadable, and openly licensed work. That expectation is stated in our Terms of Use, shown in the interface before a download that the artist has not enabled, and it is the only use we support.
